La Croisette – Cannes
La Croisette is a wide pedestrian walkway bordering the sandy beach. It is mainly known worldwide due to the « Cannes Film Festival » and the « Palais des Festivals » taking place each year, it is where are located the famous red stairs leading to the start of the walkway.

Fortified monastery of Abbey Lérins – Cannes
Located at the Southern side of the island, this ancient monastery has been classified as a Historic Monument since 1840.
Originally built at the end of the XIX century in the Cannes bay to protect the island, the monastery and its inhabitants.
The abbey is characterized by its military architecture and its religious areas built inside.
Le Suquet – Old quarter of Cannes
Usually called the «Old Town”, this medieval neighbourhood has a height of 66 meters enabling to overlook Napoule Gulf, located in Mandelieu.
In the past, this strategic location was used to protect against attacks from nearby enemies.
There are many local houses with colorful facades, flowery esplanades, local meals, sportive pétanque competition and its historical heritage raising neighborhood’s renowed and reputation.
Medieval ancient remains are also exhibited, bringing a cultural dimension.
This area is famous for its authenticity and vivacity.
Napoule Castle – Mandelieu
Napoule Castle was built in XIV century by Villeneuve Counts. Originally looted, destroyed and abandoned, today it is reborn since its reconstruction in the XIX century by a local perfumer from Grasse – famous small city next to Cannes and Mandelieu.
An American couple, Henry and Marie Clews, repurchased and settled in the castle few years later. They thus transformed it into an imaginary place bringing back life through their existence by restoring in and outside the castle: sumptuous gardens, terraces with panoramic views of Cannes bay, its Venetian well and its tea room…
Today, classified as a historical monument, this castle now regularly organizes temporary exhibitions of artists works.
Siagne Berges – Mandelieu
A meaningful place of tranquility, Siagne Berges represent a large public area from the city center until the coastline.
3 km long, they are regularly followed by walking-lovers, joggers and families and at the same time surrounded by flora and fauna within a haven of peace. Facilities have been set up for children as well.
Vegetation is dense with more than 2000 trees and roughly more than 50 type of bushes.
